1) 1. Mr. Darcy visits Elizabeth.
2. Charlotte suspects that Mr. Darcy is in love with Elizabeth.
3. Elizabeth often meets Mr. Darcy in the park. They talk a lot.
4. The conversation of Elizabeth and Colonel Fitzwilliam. He tells her about Mr. Darcy’s prevention of the Mr. Bingley’s wedding.
5. Elizabeth in tears.
2) Elizabeth often met Mr. Darcy in the park. When she met him for the first time, to prevent any chance meetings she said that she had always spent her free time there. But she was meeting him again and again. Mr. Darcy was terse and didn’t pay the particular attention for Elizabeth, but she began to understand that she liked those meetings.
3) Some times, Elizabeth during her walks in the park, suddenly met Mr. Darcy. For the fist time to stop any chance meetings, she told him that it was her favourite place for spending free time. That’s why she was very surprised when it had happened again and again. He didn’t pay particular attention for her, but felt that she began enjoying with such a companion.
4) After speaking in the park with Colonel Fitzwilliam, Elizabeth burst into tears. The Colonel said to her that it was Darcy who prevented the wedding of Mr. Bingly and Jane. To Mr. Darcy’s mind, the wedding with such a girl as Jane was very unwise because her family didn’t have solid state. Mr. Darcy thought that he had taken a great care of Mr. Bingly. Elizabeth was disappointed in Mr. Darcy completely and it was very hurt to her to hear such words about her sister and her family. It meant that Mr. Darcy had had the same thoughts about Elizabeth.

1) Elizabeth was utterly amazed when she saw Mr. Darcy at the door of her room. He entered and hastily began an inquiry after her health. She answered him with cold civility. Mr. Darcy sat down for a few minutes and then he suddenly came towards her and said in an agitated manner:
- Mrs. Bennet… Elizabeth… You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.
Elizabeth stared, doubted, coloured and was silent. Mr. Darcy continued:
- Mrs. Bennet, I’ve tried to repress my feelings for I’ve been reared from birth to believe that I should marry someone of my own rank and wealth. I fleeted to London hoping that I might forget you, but I can not. I’ve been compelled to return to you. Mrs. Bennet, say you’ll marry me.
- No, - cried Elizabeth. Had you taken my acceptance for granted? I can not even thank you for the affection you bear me. You tell me that you have given it most unwillingly, that you like me against your will.
- I simply wish to lay bare my own feelings, - replied Darcy.
- Do you think I would accept the man who prevented the happiness of my sister?
- I will not deny that I’ve done everything in my power to separate my fried from Mrs. Jane Bennet. But I wish to preserve him from the unhappy connection.
- And what can you say about misfortunes of Mr. Wicham? – cried Elizabeth angrily.
- Wicham? Do you take an eager interest in this man? – said Darcy with a heightened colour.
- How you dare to ridicule him after all his disasters! - said Elizabeth with indignation.
- And this, - cried Darcy, - it is your opinion on me! I thank you for explaining it so fully; due to my honesty I’ve recognized your attitude to me.
Elizabeth felt herself growing more angry every moment:
- You are mistaken, Mr. Darcy. The manner of your declaration has spared me the concern I might feel in refusing you if you had it in more gentlemanly way.
He looked at her with the expression of mingled incredulity and anger.
Elizabeth added:
- From the first moment of my acquaintance with you I was impressed by your arrogance and I felt that you are the last man in the world who might be my husband.
Mr. Darcy hastily left the room. Elizabeth’s mind was in a tumult. He must love her so much, - she thought, - as he wishes to marry her in spite the all of objections which had made him friend’s marriage to Jane. But his pried, his abominable pried, his shameless avowal soon overcame the pity which Elizabeth had felt for a moment.
2) First of all, Mr. Darcy pointed to the low state of the Elizabeth’s family. He emphasized that their conditions of life are beneath his own. And that’s why he didn’t want to reveal his feelings, he even fleeted to London hoping that he might forget her, but he could not. Ha said that if he were not in love with Elizabeth, he would never choose such a wife.
And as for Jane, he said that she was the most unwise and unhappy party for his friend. But Jane is a sister of Elizabeth! It means that he has the same thoughts about Elizabeth. That’s why all of these words hurt Elizabeth a lot.

track 19
1) In the morning Elizabeth woke up and there were the same thoughts in her mind, which she’d have before she fell asleep.
But it is possible that I was mistaken and you were right, so in this case I can understand your displeasure.
It’s difficult for me to hurt you.
But your behaviour and Miss Bennet’s manners win the approval.
2) All the morning Elizabeth couldn’t forget about her conversation with Mr. Darcy. She had a breakfast and decided to walk. During this walk she noticed that one man looked at her. She turned away but the man called her name and she understood that it was Mr. Darcy. So, he reached her and held a letter with a steady glance. When he went away she opened the letter and read: “There is no a renewal of my offers to you in this letter. I just want to explain you some things about two offences you last night laid to my charge. The first - that I interrupted the happiness of your sister and Mr. Bingly and the second – that I ruined the prosperity of Mr. Wicham. For the first I want to say that your sister was indifferent with my friend, that’s why I convinced him that Jane did not return his affection and took him off to London. In this story I’m ashamed for one thing – I concealed from him your sister’s being in town. If I had hurt your sister’s feelings, it was unknowingly done. But you have other causes of repugnance. The state of your mother’s family was not as objectionable as her behaviour. Pardon me. But let me say to you a consolation - behaviour of yourself and your elder sister is worth of praise.”
Chapter 9.
I.The detailed plan of this part.
1.The next morning when Elizabeth wrote the letter to her sister, suddenly Mr Darcy entered to her room. His departure was very unexpected and they kept silent for a long time. Then the talked a little about Mr Bingley and about Kent and then Charlotte arrived, Mr Darcy left her room.
2.The arrival of Mr Darcy was very strange and Charlotte thought that he has fallen in love, but Elizabeth didn’t think so.
3.Elizabeth loved to have a fine time in park and met a lot of time there Mr Darcy and she didn’t see him there.
4.Once she saw there Colonel Fitzwilliam and they decided to returned home together. Colonel said Elizabeth that Mr Darcy heled his friend not to get married and the name of his friend was Mr Bingley. Elizabeth was shocked and angry by the behavior of Mr Darcy.
5.Later Elizabeth thought about it in her room and about Mr Darcy who had not a right to do it with her sister.
6.Elizabeth cried and then had a headache and she refused to go to Rosings.
II.The meetings of Mr Darcy and Elizabeth during Miss Bennet’s stay at the Collinses’ parsonage.
The first time they met in the parsonage of Mr Collins where they didn’t speak, they just greeted each other. The second meeting was very unpleased because Elizabeth told about behavior of Mr Darcy at the ball in Hertfordshire and Mr Darcy said that Elizabeth gave usually the opinion which was not her own. They recollected everything what happened with them in the past. The third time they met at the room of Elizabeth and didn’t know what to say, especially Missis Elizabeth who didn’t understand the purpose of his arrival. However they talked not long and he went away. The last meeting was in the park where they were silent again and caught the eye of each other. To my mind, all their meetings were interesting because were different and it is important to say that they met frequently and for me it was clear that they were attracted by each other. As for me I want that they were together because they had a good deal in common.
III.The periphrasis of the following paragraph:
More than once, in her rambles in the park, Elizabeth unexpectedly met Mr Darcy. On the first occasion, to prevent its happening again, she took care to inform him that it was a favourite haunt of hers. How it could occur a second time, therefore, was very odd! Yet it did; and even a third. He never said a great deal, but she began to find an unexpected pleasure in his company.
The favourite place for Elizabeth was the park where she went for a walk but she began to saw there Mr Darcy and she didn’t like him. Not to see him there again she tried to show that this park was the best place to walk. But Mr Darcy perhaps wanted to see her and came to the park again and again. But so long he was a man of few words , Elizabeth began to derive enjoyment from his presence there.
IV. The reason why Elizabeth burst into tears after speaking with Colonel Fitzwilliam.
To my mind there were a lot of reasons to cry. First of all, I think that Elizabeth was worried about her elder sister and her happiness with Mr Bingley. She was angry that Mr Darcy meddled in other’s life, especially in the life of her family. The second reason was the despair of Elizabeth, she didn’ t know what to do and how to help her sister. And the last reason, to my opinion, was behavior of her mother and her sister which could allow people to think about their family bad and to put a slight upon them.
Chapter Ten
A Young Man Astonished. Track 18.
I. The description of Mr Darcy’s declaration of love to Elizabeth.
Seating at her room, Elizabeth was utterly amazed when Mr Darcy announced. He began an inquiry after her health and she answered him with cold civility. He sat down for a few moments then walked around the room. Suddenly he came towards her in an agitated manner. And then he said:
-Miss Bennet, you must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.
She stared, doubted, coloured and was silent.
-Miss Bennet, - he continued,-I tried to repress my feelings. I have been reared from birth to believe that I should marry someone of my own rank and wealth. I am a proud man, Missis Bennet, I could not bare the thoughts of your relations whose condition in life is so decidedly far from my own. I left for London hoping that I might forget you, but I cannot. I have been compelled to return to you. Miss Bennet, say you will marry me?
-No- cried Elizabeth.
-No?
- Are you surprised? - asked Elizabeth coldly,- had you taken my acceptance for granted? Mr Darcy, I cannot even thank you for the affection you bear me.
- You don’t believe me! - he exclaimed.
-I have never desired your good opinion, - Elizabeth continued,- you tell me that you like me against your will. I bag you to consider. Could anything be more insulting than your references to my relations.
-I didn’t mean to insult you.
-Then you can have no respect to my feelings.
-Indeed, I am most sorry if I have given you offence. I simply wish to lay bare my own feelings.
-With a complete disregard of my. No, Mr Darcy, I am sorry if I cause you pain.
-Is this all the reply I have to expect? - he interrupted.
-Not all, I have other provocations. Do you think I would accept the man who destroyed the happiness of my sister?
-I will not deny it that I have done everything in my power to separate my friend from Miss Jane Bennet, but I wish to preserve him from what I thought to be the most unhappy connection. Towards him I have been kind than towards myself.
-Have you indeed? - cried Elizabeth angrily,- and does the same kind sustends to Mr Wikhem?
- Wikhem? Are you interested him?- said Darcy with a heightened colour.
- Naturally since he has told me of his misfortunes.
-His misfortunes, - repeated Darcy,- yes, his misfortunes have been very great indeed.
-You dare to ridicule him? You who have reduced him to his present state of poverty.
-And this,- cried Darcy,- is your opinion of me? I thank you for explaining it so fully, and perhaps these offences might have been overlooked had not your pride been hurt by my honesty concerning your family. Nothing I say will alter your feelings towards me.
Elizabeth felt herself growing angrier every moment. But she tried to speak comely.
-You are mistaken, Mr Darcy, the manner of your declaration has spared me the concern I might felt in refusing you, if you would behave in a more gentlemanly way. You could not make me the offer of your hand in any possible way that would obtained me to accept.
Again his astonishment was obvious. He looked at her with an expression of mingled incredulity and anger.
-You will see that I have been equally honest with you. From the first moment of my acquaintance with you I was impressed by your arrogance. I felt that you are the last man in the world who might be my husband.
-You have said quite enough, Madam; I perfectly understand your feelings and only remains to be ashamed of what my own have been. Forgive me, if I have taken so much of your time.
With these words he left room and Elizabeth heard him the next moment leave the house. Her mind was in a tumult and she cried for half and hour. That was the proposal of marriage of Mr Darcy. That he should have been in love with her for so many months. How strong then his affection must be. But his pride, his abominable pride, his shameless avowal what he have done with respect to Jane and an unfeeling manner in which he had mentioned Wikhem- soon over came the pity which Elizabeth had for a moment felt. She cried and worried till the sounds of Lady Catherine’s carriage made her hurry away to her room.
II. To my mind the manner of speaking and declaration was awful. Of course, it is very good that Mr Darcy made up his mind to say about his feelings, but he made a lot of mistakes. First of all, he should not say that Elizabeth is not of his rank and wealth and he could not marry her. He left for London to forget about her but could not. I think he humbled her by these words. Also his attitude to her family was terrible and especially his invasion Jane’s and Mr Bingley’s life. Elizabeth thought that he had not a right to meddle in other people’s business. I think he should not be proud but say about his feelings and how important she is for him. To my opinion Elizabeth felt some senses to him and perhaps would accepted the offer if he was polite and had his own way.

track 19.
I.1. Elizabeth awoke the next morning to the same thoughts which had at length closed her eyes. - When Elizabeth got up in the morning she thought again about Mr Darcy and his proposal as she thought about him last night.
2. If you have not been mistaken here – if you were right.
3. I must have been in error and your resentment has not been unreasonable – I have been mistaken and now I understand your indignation and your behavior.
4. It pains me to offend you – It is difficult for me to displease you.
5. I could have nothing but praise for the conduct of yourself and Miss Bennet - I suppose that yours and your sister’s behavior was so good that there is no reason for thinking very bad of you.
II. The retelling of this part.
The next morning Elizabeth awoke thinking about yesterday. After breakfast she went for a walk but when she recollected that Mr Darcy was there very often she decided to go to another place. Suddenly she saw a man drawing nearer to herself. She was afraid of a meeting with Mr Darcy and decided to go away, but gentleman caught up her and took the letter. It was Mr Darcy. He asked her with a steady glance:
- Will you do me the honor of reading that letter?
Then he turned around and went away. Elizabeth who was very curious opened the letter and began to read:
« Elizabeth, don’t worry, this letter doesn’t contain a renewal of offers that I was reporting yesterday. Last night you laid to my charge two offences: the first one is my invasion of the privacy of your sister and Mr Bingley; and the second I have ruined the prosperity of Mr Wikhem. I hope that after the reading of this letter you will understand me. So, when I was in Hertfordshire I noticed that my friend Mr Bingley has fallen in love but your sister Miss Jane was indifferent to my friend. But there were other causes of repugnance. The situation of your mothers family though objectionable was nothing in comparison with that total want of propriety so frequently displayed by herself and her three younger sisters. Let us give you the consolation to know that I could have nothing but prays for the conduct of yourself and Miss Bennet. I can only say that I tried to preserve my friend from what I thought to be the most unhappy connection. I persuaded him that your sister didn’t return his affection and took him off to London. There is one part of my conduct on which I don’t reflect with satisfaction; it is that I concealed from him your sisters being in town. He doesn’t know about it even yet. Perhaps this concealment was beneath me, it is done however and it was done for the best. If I wounded your sisters feelings it was unknowingly done.

-“You could not make me the offer of your hand in any possible way that I would accept.
Again he was astonished.
He looked at her with an expression of mingled, incredulity and anger.
-“You will see that I was being equal honest with you.”
Elizabeth added,
- From the first moment of my acquaintance with you I was impressed by your arrogance and I felt that you are the last man in the world who might be my husband.
- “You have said quite enough Madam, I perfectly understand your feelings” - said Mr. Darcy.
Mr. Darcy hastily left the room. Her mind was in a tumult. He must love her so much, - she thought, - as he wishes to marry her in spite the all of objections which had made him friend’s marriage to Jane. But his pried, his abominable pried, his shameless avowal soon overcame the pity which Elizabeth had felt for a moment.
She cried and worried.
2) This conversation was a big mistake from Mr. Darcy side. He told about different life levels, but at the same time he was frank, he really loved Elizabeth, it was difficult for him to stop think about that beautiful girl as she was for him. He didn’t want to insult her family, but it was look like that. That time was very necessary to have an appropriate party, but Elizabeth wasn’t it. It was really unpleasant to her from man who told her about his love… in that case he was assertive.

1)
Even the next morning she continued to think about their conversation with Mr. Darcy.
Perhaps I wasn’t right and I can understand your offence.
I can not afford yourself to annoy you.
I had nothing to do just be glad by our behavior. (Me and Miss Bennet)
2) Even the next morning Elizabeth continued to think about the previous conversation with Mr. Darcy. After the breakfast she decided to walk in the park as she did it usual. She was afraid to meet Mr. Darcy there that’s why she changed her customary route. Unexpectedly she caught a steady glance and someone called her name, it was MR. Darcy. He gave her a letter and asked to read it. She opened the envelope and started to read it that to bate her curiosity. In this letter Mr. Darcy wanted to say that he didn’t want to renew his offers because it wasn’t so pleasant for her. Also he understood her causes of repugnance and asked a pardon. Then he wrote some explanations to his actions which were connected with her sister and her family. He tried to explain why he destroyed the wedding of her sister.

1)Elizabeth wrote a letter to her sister when Mr Darcy suddenly arranged by the front door.In order to break the silence Elizabeth asked him about Bingley and whether he intended to visit Netherfield Park again, and he asked her about her impressions of Kent.
2)With the advent of Charlotte ,Mr Darcy left quickly the house, Charlotte suspects that he felt in love , but for Elizabeth such assumption is quite absurd -because they can't stand each other.
3)When Elizabet was making her frequent walks in park ,she met there Mr Darcy that was very unexpectedly for her.
4)The next time she met there Colonel Fitzwilliam and he told her about the interference of Mr Darcy in the destiny of his best friend Mr Bingley- he averted him from undesirable marriage .To her horror Elizabeth anderstood that he speaks about frustrated marriage of her sister.
5)As Elizabeth faintly suppressed , she told the Colonel that she felt strong headache and she would like to return home.
II.The meetings of Mr Darcy and Elizabeth during Miss Bennet’s stay at the Collinses’ parsonage.
Elizabeth has opportunity to see Mr Darcy very often in the time of her stay in the Collinses house , but firstly she didn't like their meetings because she considered Mr Darcy as very proud and arrogant person , but he is changed to her surprise , he tries to communicate with her , he takes keen interest in her opinion .
III.The periphrasis of the following paragraph:
In the time of her walks Elizabeth met Mr Darcy ,that was bolt from the blue for her. With the purpose of avoiding this unpleasant meeting for themselves, she told Mr Darcy that the park is her preferable place for the rest, but Mr Darcy ignored this information and began to appear there very frequently.Elizabeth began to feel the joy of those strange meetings.
IV. Explain the reason why Elizabeth burst into tears after speaking with Colonel Fitzwilliam.
Well she realized that all hopes and dreams of her beloved sister turned into the dust , but the most oppressive fact was that Jane really came to love Mr Bingley .
Secondly in my opinion Elizabeth began to feel drawn to Mr Darcy ,but his shabby act destroyed her fragile feeling .
Chapter 10
A Young Man Astonished
track 18
1) Elizabeth was alone in the Collinse's house when suddenly there appeared Mr Darcy . He entered and in a horrid manner began asked her about her health . She answered him with cold civility. Mr. Darcy sat down for a few minutes and then he suddenly came towards her and he and adressed to her with such words:
- Mrs. Bennet, - Elizabeth ,- I have struggled in vain, he said-, it won't do. - You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.
Elizabeth was really amazed by this expression :she stared, doubted, coloured and was silent. Mr. Darcy continued his declaration:
- Mrs. Bennet, I’ve tried to repress my feelings for I’ve been reared from birth to believe that I should marry someone of my own rank and wealth. I'am proud man Mrs.Bennet I could not bare the thought of your relations whose condition in life is so decidedly beneath my own.I 've left to London hoping that I might forget you, but I cannot. I have been compelled to return to you. Miss Bennet, say you will marry me?
- No, - cried Elizabeth.
-No,-echoed Mr Darcy and his face become pale .
-Are you surprised?- asked Elizabeth coldly.
- Had you taken my acceptance for granted? I can not even thank you for the affection you saing you bear me. In his part Mr. Darcy was shoked and he attentively observed her.
- I have never desired your good opinion-Elizabeth continued -
- You tell me that you have given it most unwillingly, that you like me against your will.I beg you to consider could anything be more insulting than your references to my relations.
-I did not mean to insult you , than you have no respect for my feelings.
-Indeed, I am most sorry if I have given you an offence. I simply wish to lay bare my own feelings.
-With a complete disregard of my. No, Mr Darcy, I am sorry if I cause you pain.
-Is this all the reply I am to expect? - he interrupted.
-Not all, I have other provocations. Do you think I would accept the man who has been the means of ruining the happiness of my sister?
-I will not deny it that I have done everything in my power to separate my friend from Miss Jane Bennet, but I wish to preserve him from what I thought to be the most unhappy connection. Towards him I have been kind than towards myself.
-Have you indeed? - cried Elizabeth angrily,- and does the same kind suspend to Mr Wickham?
- Wickham?
- You take an eager intrest in that gentleman's concerns- said Darcy with a heighten colour .
- Naturally since he has told me of his misfortunes.
-His misfortunes, - repeated Darcy contemptuously ,- yes, his misfortunes have been very great indeed.
-You dare to ridicule him? You who have reduced him to his present state of poverty.
-And this,- cried Darcy,- is your opinion of me? I thank you for explaining it so fully, my fault is so heavy indeed but perhaps these offences might have been overlooked had not your pride been hurt by my honesty concerning your family. Nothing I say will alter your feelings towards me.
Elizabeth felt herself growing more angrier every moment. But she tried to speak calmly.
From the first moment of my acquaintance with you I was impressed by your arrogance, your conceit and your selfish disdain of the feelings for others . I felt that you are the last man in the world whom I could have ever be prevailed upon to marry .
-You have said quite enough, Madam- I perfectly understand your feelings and have now only to be ashamed of what my own have been. Forgive me, if I have taken so much of your time.
With these words he hastily left room and Elizabeth heard him the next moment leave the house. Her mind was in a tumult and she cried for half and hour. That was the proposal of marriage from Mr Darcy, and even more he felt in love to her during several months and she hasn't any guess about this . How strong then his affection must be. But his pride, his abominable pride, his shameless avowal what he have done with respect to Jane and an unfeeling manner in which he had mentioned Wickham- soon over came the pity which Elizabeth had for a moment felt. She cried and fumed and worried till the sound of Lady Catherine’s carriage made her hurry away to her room.
II. Say what was wrong in Mr Darcy’s declaration of love, what filled Elizabeth with indignation.
As Mr Darcy being proud man made some serious mistaken in his declaration of love to Elizabeth so she in quite blunt respose declined his proposal.
-Firstly Mr.Darcy mentioned more lower social status than his one
-Secondly he did not doubt that Elizabeth accept his proposal with great pleasure
-Thirdly Elizabeth was indignant at Mr Darcy's contempt for Wickham
- and finally Mr Darcy was initiator of separation of Mr Bingley and her beloved sister.

track 19

2)If I had been right on this subject I might be mistaken and your huff has its reason.

He waited for Elizabeth ,he would like to explain his motive of his interference in the relations of his best friend and defends from the mendacity of Mr.Wickham . He asked her with a steady glance:
- Will you do me the honor of reading that letter?
Then he turned around and disappeared. Elizabeth who was very rational and curious opened the letter and began to read:
« -Do you not be alarmed,Madam by any feared this letter contained a renewal of these offers which were last night so detestfull for you . You must pardon a freedom with which I demand you an attention ,but two offences you last night laid to my charge:
-The first one is my interference of the privacy of your sister and Mr Bingley.
-The second that I have ruined the prosperity of Mr Wickham.I dare to cherish the hope that after reading this letter you can understand my motives and reasons. In Hartfordshire I noticed that my friend Mr Bingley has fallen in love but your sister Miss Jane was indifferent to my friend.Of course I have seen many times when Mr.Bengley bagan to take an intrest in company of young ladies ,but this case was especial. He felt the reall passion to your sister - but she didn't show intrest in him. But there were other causes of repugnance. The situation of your mother's family though objectionable was nothing in comparison with that total want of propriety so frequently displayed by herself and her three younger sisters.
-Pardon me ,it pains me to offend you. Let us give you the consolation to know that I could have nothing but prays for the conduct of yourself and Miss Bennet. I can only say that I wished to preserve my friend from what I thought to be the most unhappy connection. I persuaded him that your sister didn’t return his affection and took him off to London. There is one part of my conduct on which I do not reflect with satisfaction - it is that I concealed from him your sisters being in town. He is ignored of it even yet . Perhaps this concealment was beneath me, it is done however and it was done for the best. If I wounded your sisters feelings it was unknowingly done.
